FINALS GAHHH

I'm crazy. A huge final project for honors seminar due tomorrow at 1:30 pm. I've just really started. Did research already, but still. I think it will get done. Somehow. Like if I start NOW!

Eating San Francisco potluck dinner was fun. I made pita bread with melted feta cheese on top and a fava bean dip. All locally grown goodness. I think people liked it. All the food was so good, I am now stuffed.


Okay, down to business: after I finish this project, all I need to do is write an 8-10 page paper for law class and study (?) for an open book/open note final. Not too worried about that one. So really, once this is done, THE END IS NEAR! In a good way.

In an attempt to eat as much of the food in my apartment before i move, and not buy more, i invented my own variation of the McGriddle breakfast sandwich at McDonalds: a fried egg with some cheese over a frozen waffle and syrup.

The result: yum. Did need more syrup though. Too bad I'm out of waffles now.

We'll see what else I come up with in my desperation.

Shalom! I'm wearing my Israel Defense Force tee-shirt today. I got it when I went to Israel last summer and I really like it. But I don't really wear it outside the house usually. It's too controversial of a statement to wear on my chest I feel. And I have quite a few Palestinian friends who I wouldn't want to burn bridges with.


But it's perfect for romping around at home. I'm packing up today. Moving all my stuff from my San Francisco apartment to go back to my parents' house in Roseville. I feel all grubby but nice and productive. In the midst of packing I'm also in final-paper-writing mode. Some big projects due this week. Ay ay ay. Oh who am I kidding - I thrive on this kind of stress.

Things to do:
Finish project on social media for Remaking the News
Finish Cole Valley blog post for Eating San Francisco
Make delicious dish of local foods for Eating San Francisco (fava bean and feta cheese puree with homemade pita chips!)
Write final paper about Pump up the Volume/First Amendment for communication law and policy.
Take Comm. Law and Policy final
Finish moving out!!!

Then summer. Which realistically, with a job, internship, and research position, won't be much of a break. Like I said, I love it.
